June 5, 2010: Subaru of Jacksonville and Subaru of Orange Park sponsor the 2nd Annual Never Quit Beachfest in Jacksonville Beach!

For the 2nd straight year, Subaru of Jacksonville and Subaru of Orange Park came out for the Never Quit Beachfest and provided a booth, goodies for the runners, gave away a free kayak, and made a large donation to the charity. April 15 - May 21, 2010: Subaru of Jacksonville and Subaru of Orange Park put on A Lot to Love About Reading: Round 2!

Subaru of Jacksonville and Subaru of Orange Park are proud to bring back our "A Lot to Love About Reading" program which brought national acclaim in the fall of 2009. This time, we concentrated on assisting Middle School Students with reading and comprehension. The School Board identified 7th Grade Students as the highest need, so we brought our program and our staff into two area middle schools: Jeb Stuart and Joseph Stilwell. We awarded prizes to the students, faculty, teachers, and administrators for participating in the program!

The grand prize winner was J.E.B. Stuart Middle School and we were proud to award them a $2,500.00 check for their winnings! Everyone is a winner for participating in the program, so we also awarded Joseph Stilwell $500.00 for their participation! Check out the photos below!

ESX Motorsports, Internationally known for being a STAR of SPEED, is holding a 2010 Driver Contest! This is a ONCE in a lifetime opportunity!

Announcing Subaru's Second Annual "Share the Love Event" running from November 21, 2009 - January 4, 2010!

Subaru of America announces its Second Annual "Share the Love Event" for 2009. From November 21, 2009- January 4, 2010, Subaru will donate $250 to a charity of the customer's choice for every new vehicle sold or leased. Customers also have the option of splitting the donation between the different charities. Charities receiving donations are:

American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals
Meals on Wheels of America
Habitat for Humanity
National Wildlife Federation
Boys and Girls Clubs of America

Subaru of Jacksonville will also be getting personally involved with several of the charities! In the two days preceding Thanksgiving, Subaru of Jacksonville will be donating two Subaru Forester vehicles and dispatching employees throughout the greater Jacksonville area to deliver food for Meals on Wheels. Check back soon for our ASPCA and Boys and Girls Clubs of America involvement! Giving back is part of our brand, and a thread of our business! We love the Jacksonville community and want to assist whenever possible!

November 24 & 25, 2009 - Subaru of Jacksonville donates vehicles and employees to assist with Meals on Wheels:

For the second year in a row, Subaru of Jacksonville helps it local Meals on Wheels chapter by donating four Subaru vehicles and 8 Subaru of Jacksonville employees to assist with its holiday deliveries. It was a great way for Subaru of Jacksonville to give back to an incredible organization. Our employees really enjoyed doing it and were happy to be able to wish Happy Holidays to everyone around town! Happy Holidays from Subaru of Jacksonville!

Subaru of Jacksonville continues to give back, launching its "A Lot to Love About Reading" event in area Elementary Schools on October 14, 2009:

Subaru of Jacksonville cares so much about our community. Beginning October 14, and running through November 30, 2009, Subaru of Jacksonville is running an aggressive campaign in area elementary schools to promote reading, comprehension, and literacy. The "A Lot to Love About Reading" event pairs Subaru of Jacksonville with three competing elementary schools, with prizes and giveaways galore to the winning student, classroom, and school. Subaru of Jacksonville is both donating gifts, and prizes and also having employees read to the students on a weekly basis to keep them excited about the program. Subaru of Jacksonville Announces Pet Month for October 2009!

Subaru of Jacksonville and Subaru of America love pets! Did you know that over 70% of Subaru owners also have pets? That is more than any other car brand! In 2008, Subaru of America donated over $1 Million Dollars to the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) through its "A Lot to Love Event." Subaru of America recently announced this program would happen again during the 2009 holiday season. Subaru of Jacksonville decided to follow suit and will have our event for the month of October be centered all around pets! Check back soon for details about charity events, adoptions, and donations we are planning. We love our pet owners!

UPDATE: Subaru of Jacksonville is proud to announce its sponsorship of Dogtoberfest 2009! Dogtoberfest is a yearly fundraising event to benefit the incredible Jacksonville organization First Coast No More Homeless Pets. This year's Dogtoberfest will take place on Saturday, October 10th at Metro Park in downtown Jacksonville. The event begins at 9 a.m. and will feature a dog trick or treat walk through a haunted forest, doga, and demonstrations and events from other local vendors and supporters. Dogtoberfest is a wonderful, family and pet friendly event that is the place to be for Jacksonville pet lovers. Each participant will receive prizes for both owner and pet. First Coast No More Homeless Pets is a non-profit organization which seeks to save all healthy dogs and cats through education, adoption, and sterilization. Since FCNMHP was founded in 2001, there has been a 32% reduction in shelter intake for all pets. September 22, 2009 - Subaru of Jacksonville Donates New Subaru WRX STI to the Fraternal Order of Police (Jacksonville Sheriff's Office)

Subaru of Jacksonville continues its charitable contributions to the greater Jacksonville community by donating a brand new Subaru WRX STI to the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP)! The WRX STI has long been considered Subaru's highest performance vehicle and is on the forefront of Motorsports events with 305 turbo charged horses under the hood couplied with a close ration six-speed manual transmission! Subaru of Jacksonville chose the WRX STI because it is perfect to reach out to Jacksonville's young adults about the hazard of reckless, high-speed driving. The FOP will use the vehicle to educate the public about the differences between dangerous street racing versus the safer course of keeping it on the track in a controlled environment. Subaru of Jacksonville loves to make a difference! We hope the WRX donation will help the FOP get the message out and saves lives. Stay tuned for our next adventure in the community!

September 13, 2009 - Get Green Music Launch Party

On Saturday, September 13th, Subaru of Jacksonville is the proud automotive sponsor of the official Get Green Music Launch part. Get Green Music is an innovative company which pairs music with love for the environment. Get Green Music is similar in function and pricing to iTunes and other music downloading companies, but it gives a percentage of its profits to environmental charities to help promote an eco-friendly lifestyle to Americans. August 27, 2009 - Retirement Party for Kay Amantea

On August 27, 2009, Subaru of Jacksonville hosted our first ever retirement party for our beloved Service Adviser, Ms. Kay Amantea! Kay has been with Subaru of Jacksonville since it opened in 1996, and is the first original staff member to retire. The event was held at Sneakers in Jacksonville Beach, and was a great success. August 13, 2009 - Subaru of Jacksonville sponsors the Jacksonville Suns

Subaru of Jacksonville sponsored the Jacksonville Suns for its Annual "Used Car Night" on August 13, 2009. The Jacksonville Suns are the Triple A baseball affiliate of the Florida Marlins. The Jacksonville Suns have been a Jacksonville family tradition since 1904. Going to the Jacksonville Suns games is a favorite family past time, and something that Subaru of Jacksonville is proud to be a part of for the second year running! Subaru of Jacksonville proudly donated a quality Ford Escort and other local car dealers including representatives from Chevrolet and Jaguar participated as well. The photos below show the winners of the Ford Escort that Subaru of Jacksonville donated to the cause.

May 31, 2009 - Never Quit Never 5k

On May 31, 2009 Subaru of Jacksonville teamed up with the charity Never Quit Never to put on their Beach Wellness Day and 5k Run/Walk. Never Quit Never is a charity that aims to avoid serious medical issues such as brain disease, stroke, and heart disease. Many members of the Subaru of Jacksonville family have been affected by one of these awful diseases, so this is a cause that was near to our heart. The goal of Never Quit Never is to teach people prevention from these diseases and how to live an active and healthy life style. Subaru of Jacksonville team members were on hand making sure the event was a success, and some of our team even ran in the race! Never Quit Never believes in many of the core components that have helped to make Subaru of Jacksonville successful and we were proud to team up with this charity for such an important event to the Jacksonville community. December 2009 - Subaru of Jacksonville Employee Holiday Party

It is important to Subaru of Jacksonville to maintain a family like environment among our employees. Subaru of Jacksonville has been family owned and operated for almost 15 years in the Jacksonville area! Each year, Subaru of Jacksonville hosts a holiday party to say "thank you" to our employees and friends for a year of hard work. The party is a chance for the employees to sit back, relax, and be treated to a nice evening out by Subaru of Jacksonville. This year, the event was held at Maggiano's Little Italy and guests were treated to a three course meal, entertainment, and a short day at work. Here are a few photos from the event!
