Design and Performance
  • Subaru retuned the 2018 Legacy CVT transmission to provide a more responsive and smoother acceleration.
  • Symmetrical all-wheel drive and active torque vectoring comes standard on all Legacy models, making it the only vehicle in its class to do so.
  • Redesigned headlights now feature distinctive "konoji" daytime LED running lights - and they look AWESOME!

  • Available LED fog lamps are both stunning and useful.
  • Retuned suspension to enhance agility and steering and brake feel while reducing body roll through turns.
  • Electric power steering (EPS) has been tweaked to make the 2018 Subaru Legacy more engaging to drive.
Convenience and Comfort

Noise reduction sources include changes to the CVT transmission to reduce powertrain noise, reshaped exterior mirrors to minimize wind 'noise' and sound insulating windows and thicker wheel well aprons make the interior even quieter - front and rear.
  • Interior design features more premium materials and focuses on refinement and comfort - and delivers with the most volume space of any vehicle in its class!

  • A/C system cools the cabin more quickly and provides more uniform temperature throughout the cabin.
  • Control settings have been moved for more intuitive operation.
  • New available grey interior in addition to black or ivory.
  • New steering wheel with sportier look and feel.

  • New for 2018, when reversing, the guidelines displayed on the screen move in sync with the steering to provide more accurate vehicle positioning.
  • Also new for 2018, the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) now detects pressure changes at each tire so you know which tire requires attention.
